I've encountered the same hanging issue when using the mouse to
select with FM 7.0 on Win 7 64-bit. Never had that problem with Win

I just upgraded to Win 7 32-bit last week. Today is the first day I've
done some real editing in Frame 8 and I haven't noticed any problems.
Copying and pasting text from one file to another is OK, as is
minimising a document or Frame itself. I have version 8.0p277.

Ive seen the same thing when highlighting with a mouse with my installation
of FM 8 on Win 7 64-bit. I dont recall ever having that problem in all the
years I used FM 8 on Win XP.
I dont think this really fixed it, but I did find that I was missing an
update. I believe the latest
