I've found that turning on Create Named Destinations works.

I make hypertext links in a similar fashion as you mentioned but they work
all fine. I guess, it has something to do with the way you convert your fm
file to pdf. As Denise has mentioned, 'print' your fm file/book to pdf
by opting for 'Adobe PDF' as the printer selection.

This should work. Just for information, do you have one or two bad links OR
are none of them working??

So I made a Hypertext link in my Frame file using Specify Named
Destination and Jump to Named Destination. It works fine when I make the
Frame file viewable. But when I print to PDF, I lose the link. What do I
have to do to get it to work?

I use a standard Marker (Marker Type: Hypertext Marker Text: message URL 
http://full Internet address here). We print a FrameMaker book to the Adobe 
PDF printer selection. This link to the company web site and other email 
links work fine.
