I think the default clipboard format priority order is based on the presumed value of a tight coupling between source and destination. But in many cases, the specific thing you're trying to accomplish is to leave behind as much as possible that is tool-specific, so that you get only the contact

An easy one, maybe: given a destination cross-reference marker, is there a way to locate the source(s) of the cross-reference? Searching for marker text doesn't work, either using the actual cross-reference text, or the id number in the destination marker. -- Steve

As I remember, putting TEXT first affects only Edit Paste, not Edit Paste Special. The ideal thing would be a key combination for Edit Paste Special... Text, but you can't do that without the FDK. Instead, try training yourself to do the keystroke ALT+E+S+T+ENTER. Another good key sequence
