Hi all, Looks like the previous guy on my docs applied local formatting to hyperlinks to color them blue and underline them. What's worse, their often doesn't match the surroundinging text. How can I find all text that is blue (and optionally underlined) and delete it and apply a Character

At that point I am still trying to find the file that contains the target paragraph. This book has about 50 chapters, so it requires a lot of peering into a long list of files with similar names. Also handy would be a way to make the content of that specific dialog appear in larger type...

I don't think it is in the order they were opened. I normally open the book file and then open all files in the book by holding the shift key and selecting Open All Files in Book. That opens the files in order. I just created a new file, opened it and added it to the book file, then updated

A helper, buried under a huge workload, made one little mistake - renaming a lot of chapters and their filenames to make them easier to follow. Unfortunately, along the way a lot of x-ref markers were lost. I don't think there is any way to undo that damage, so they just have to be re-linked.

John, Unless you have a backup of the book and associated files that are unchanged, then the MIF method may be the easiest way to go.   If you had renamed the chapters from the book the cross-references would have been automatically recreated and it would have saved you all of this work.   In

Does anyone find discretionary hyphens as useless as I do? It appears that they only work if hyphenation is turned on in the paragraph style, but if the paragraph already hyphenates itself, there is little need for them. I turn hyphenation off because I prefer not to have hyphenated paragraphs.
