I have installed FM9 on XP and Win7 but I get the same error.
When I try to launch it, it displays the message
"Framemaker cannot initialize its dictionaries. Either the LanguageDir entry
specified in the initialization file is missing or incorrect, or the files
in the LanguageD
I would rename your Linguistics folder under your \application data\adobe\
folder - FM will recreate it & should start up ok.

the FM (9) file. FM has all updates.
The printout errors out on at the same place every time. But that should not
be the problem because the manual prints the first 9 pages

I finally got the manual to print on an HP Laserjet 5si Printer.
The illustrator also found the graphic that error'ed out first had some black
in it. It was supposed to be all Panatone Reflex Blue M.

happens, but if I either create that image all in PhotoShop or take the

I've inherited guides in a variety of formats and need to merge 3 guides
into one. The catch is that 2 are in Frame while one is in Flare. Since I'm
far more adept in Frame I thought I'd move the one guide to that format b
