We use MathType with several publications in FrameMaker and found it
works very well. We save all of the equations as EPS files and Frame
imports them just fine. You want to make sure and use the EPS files
as they stay in vector format--a gif file is rasterized. The

can confirm a similar behavior:
1) Repeatable crash on my machine:
- You'll need more than one unsaved documents open.
- Make the documents tabs viewable.
- Quickly click the X more than one time to close a document.

2) I've got no problem with FM staying on top in either maximized or windowed
state. Clicking other apps on the task bar brings them to the front. The FM
console is a bit tricky to get in front .. but that stated in FM9.
Sounds like this is a Win7 issue.

separate machines. It is most likely due to you each printing to a
different printer using a different driver. Try closing out of
FrameMaker on both machines, set Adobe PDF/Distiller as your default

We used to set up a giant BACK hyperlink along the left or right margin of
the master pages of our documents. This would allow us a BACK function from
anywhere we click on a hyperlink. Just set up a background text frame with
hyperlink on the master page. cntrl-alt-click will then

I, too, have wished for the capability for more than 10 years and have
requested it numerous times from Adobe. This would be one way to bring back
the Mac version--add FrameMaker lite to the App store. I think a price point
of $99 or less would be great. There are too many of our clients

I've been running several automated tasks through FrameMaker. All image
formats convert to PDF fairly quickly EXCEPT PDF files. If I import pages of
