Hypertext on a network

2007-11-08 Thread Mohamed_Mahmoud/BBAD/Bombardier
Hi All,
I was trying to use Hypertext (Clickable links in the final PDF) to PDF
files located on clustered network (No IP or URL) with no success.

My process:

Select text in a paragraph,
Special== Hypertext == message client == message openfile [path]
The PDF works fin, the link is clickable but Acrobat fails to open the file
and displays the path with French characters instead of \\

My system:

XP, SP2, FM 7.2, Acrobat 7.1 Professional

Did any of you try this feature before?

Mohamed

Thanks Richard. This is what I was using with the results I mentioned
earlier.

Mohamed

I don't know about the French characters, but I'm sure you need to use
forward slashes in all paths.

HTH!
