CommercialWare has an opening for a senior technical writer to work on
various software products, primarily a point-of-sale application and its
integrations with related applications. This is a full-time, permanent
position. Here's the job summary:

As part of the Engineering group at CommercialWare, the Senior Technical
Writer will be responsible for publishing documentation for
CommercialWare applications.  This individual will also be expected to
perform quality assurance testing to identify issues and confirm
resolution.  The ideal candidate must possess the skills outlined below
and be able to function in a team-oriented, multi-faceted environment.

Job Scope:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

*   Write, edit, and publish print and online documentation for
CommercialWare software applications.
*   Work closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Technical
Support, Software Consulting, and Product Management teams to document
product features.
*   Estimate, track and manage documentation projects to ensure that
high-quality documentation is delivered on time and within budget.
*   Perform quality assurance for designated projects to verify that
product functions as specified.
*   Adhere to CommercialWare documentation standards and style
guide.
