Quick Context-sensitive question

2006-11-21 Thread Niels Fanøe
Hi,
You can point to the same topic from multiple places in the application. So one
topic alias should suffice.

I'm placing topic aliases in my documents so my client can generate
context-sensitive help.

There are several topics, which need to point to the same help topic. In a case
like this, do I just create the single topic alias, then have the programmers
set it up to point to the same topic, or do I have to set up three separate
topic aliases?

Thanks,
Ron

Quick Context-sensitive question

2006-11-21 Thread Rene Stephenson
In using WWP, I have found that if I put the same TopicAlias marker text in
multiple places in the FM file, the help call doesn't know which one to show. I
can use multiple keys to point to a single TopicAlias in a single place in the
FM file, so that several screens call the same help topic. I guess what I'm
saying is, the TopicAlias has to be a discreet instance in the FM source files.
Pardon me if I'm stating the obvious.
