For FM 11 I had to add xml:space="preserve" to my root element, e.g. <masterregs xml:space="preserve" recid="10000" name="dot">
In addition when I had a multi-column table and I have an empty cell with a dotleader like ............... to guide the eye across the cell I use a decimal tab. The tagging <td>	</td> did not work. Frame determined there was nothing really in the cell.
