Hi Dave
Hi Dave,
this is a 'well known' FrameMaker issue. It has to do with your image format
(jpg?) and image color settings. We had similar issues with sRGB jpg images.
Somehow FM has trouble translating the color information to screen presentation.
You, and others experiencing the same, should
Some of the images are 3 or 4MB, so not small.
Thanks to everyone for your helpful advice and thoughts.

Are the images embedded or referenced from a network location?? If so,

I also experience this problem but mine is caused by a slight network lag
getting my networked, referenced images.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

FrameMaker has always had horrific graphics performance. Whatever it’s doing
under the hood with respect to page rendering is abysmal.
I’m running a top end Intel Core i7 CPU with 32GB of RAM, 64-bit OS, dedicated

Denis,
In response to your scrolling issue, I have discovered that having the Insets
pod open dramatically affects performance. I am also running FM 12, Windows 7,
