Spot cross-reference?

Hi, In FM9, I have inserted the marker ( Cross-Reference type, content=Me) on the page and see its contents when I go to create the spot cross-reference. I just don't see how to define the FORMAT to see the text (Me). I have tried $paratext, of course that is not right. It must be really simple
