Re: [PLIP-Advisories] [Plone] #9327: unified interface for lists of content
#9327: unified interface for lists of content +--- Reporter: elvix |Owner: elvix Type: PLIP| Status: reopened Priority: n/a |Milestone: 4.2 Component: Infrastructure | Resolution: Keywords: | +--- Comment(by hannosch): I worked on the code a bit. The following points from the reviews should be addressed now: - no more old-style classes (cah190) - plone.uuid support throughout (cah190) - renamed the uniqueIdentifier method to uuid and let it use always IUUID() (cah190) - fixed readme, so it calls context/@@folderListing to make it clear it's a view and not a method on content objects (rossp) - Removed the empty sections from the readme, the usage examples are at the top of the file (rossp) - Eric merged the latest CMFPlone trunk, so the tests pass now and the instance should start up (rossp) - zLOG isn't used anymore (rossp) - logging in catalog.py has been removed, so its not a bottleneck anymore (rossp) I'll continue working on the plone.app.search code and will move the 'SearchResults' view and its tests over there. I think converting any existing listings in CMFPlone is outside the scope of the PLIP now. It will only be used as a basis for p.a.search and p.a.collection. Geir could prove me wrong by actually doing the template changes by I doubt it ;) -- Ticket URL: http://dev.plone.org/plone/ticket/9327#comment:73 Plone http://plone.org Plone Enterprise Content Management System ___ PLIP-Advisories mailing list plip-advisor...@lists.plone.org https://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/plone-plip-advisories

#9352: Improved search results +--- Reporter: laurenskling| Owner: spliter Type: PLIP| Status: assigned Priority: major | Milestone: 4.2 Component: Infrastructure |Keywords: search +--- Comment(by hannosch): I'm in the process of helping spliter to fix some batching issues and do a general code cleanup. Please hold of with any reviews until Sunday, as I'm probably leaving the code in a broken state for a while. -- Ticket URL: http://dev.plone.org/plone/ticket/9352#comment:134 Plone http://plone.org Plone Enterprise Content Management System ___ PLIP-Advisories mailing list plip-advisor...@lists.plone.org https://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/plone-plip-advisories
