~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ *BASEMENT is an annual, touring screening of contemporary lo-fidelity experimental cinema. *We have no restrictions on length or content, as long as you feel your work fits our festival's theme. Our entry criteria are loose, but our will is strong. *We charge no entry fees, and the deadline for submissions is 12.31.2014. Our entry form can be found here <http://basementmediafest.com/entryform.pdf>.* BASEMENT is organized by just two people. These two people watch all the submissions and put together the program every year. They also organize all of the screenings in each year's tour (with help from local programmers <3). This year, BASEMENT has screened (and will screen) in New York City, Baltimore, Boston, Winnipeg, Toronto, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Austin (with more to come...?). We might even expand next year, with a little help from our friends.
