[Frameworks] If you want Kodak hicon, order it now
Hi all, I spoke to the L.A. Kodak rep yesterday, and 7363 16mm hicon is on back order, but the current plan is for Kodak to most likely fill any order as long as it comes in basically NOW. So if you want any of this stuff, call 1-800-621-FILM and place an order while you can. You will likely be told it's on back order, but you should be able to place an order anyway. It's not a 100% guarantee at this point that you'll get the stock, but it's very likely. The same should be the case for 5363 35mm hicon, which I believe is also being discontinued. FPS Call For Entries: #awkward Postmark Deadline: 09/19/14 No Entry Fee PLUG PROJECTS announces a call for entries for FPS, an ongoing series of experimental film, video and multimedia work. Plug Projects is a curatorial collaboration by five Kansas City artists. This installment of FPS expands upon themes in our upcoming exhibition #awkward which showcases work that explores uncertainty and discomfort in human relationships. We are looking for single channel work that exploits the inelegance of communication and investigates the vulnerable, the ungainly, and the absurd. NOTIFICATION: You will be notified by October 3rd, of your acceptance. We must receive exhibition copies by October 10th. Only film prints and drives will be returned unless by prior arrangement.
