Hi Dan,
there is a place called Zajia Lab in Beijing, small really nice place for
moving images and music. I showed a program there last year. You can
contact Ambra Corinti (ambra.cori...@gmail.com), she runs the place with
her chinese husband.

They dont have a website, mostly because of governmental content control i
guess, but they update their facebook-page.

 Dan,
 There is very little.
Get in touch with Julien Tang julien.t...@beijingdc.org and Sandy
Ding sandyf...@126.com. We projected 16mm a few times in some of
the art galleries in 798 and Caochangdi. They can point you in the

Any filmmakers in need of music for their current projects? I record mostly
hypnagogic, loop-based music that (in my opinion) fits non-narrative film
 particularly well.

Check out my bandcamp here for examples:

[Frameworks] Flat in Berlin?

2013-12-02 Thread Cherry Kino
Hi all!

Am working on a project for CTM festival in Berlin, to be performed by me and
my collaborator and friend Kathy Alberici, on 1st Feb. Because it's a big
project, I'm going to need to be in Berlin for the whole month of January, from
5th Jan til 3rd Feb, and will hopefully be working on my material at Labor
Berlin as a member (woop! Looking forward to that so much!).

I was wondering if anyone out there in Berlin knows of a room or apartment to
rent for that time period? I've heard that a lot of people leave Berlin for
that month. My budget is small but hoping I can find something!

Cheers to all, and if I don't see you before then (which is highly likely! :)
) then have a brilliant filmic Christmas!

Send me a photo of the projector head with the gate removed. Place a ruler
near the two threaded mounting points so I can get and idea of the spacing.
Are the mounting bolts 10-32?
The gate looks a lot like the Richardson movement use in military photo
