[Frameworks] Sourcing Bruce Conner Prints
Hello all, I have what may be a common question, though I wasn't able to find a recent answer digging through my archive of frameworks digests. I'm programming a screening in Dallas and I'd love to be able to show a print of Bruce Conner's A Movie if it's possible. I've emailed Paula Cooper Gallery with an inquiry but not received any answer. If someone would point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. Matt Hinton's documentary Awake My Soul is about southern shape note singing, specifically from the Sacred Harp book. There are many participant-made videos of shape note singing on Youtube, and there you can also find Alan Lomax's 1982 footage of a southern shape note singing convention.
