I have a 10 minute short film I would like to transfer and most of the labs charge about 2 grand for this service. ___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks
Re: [Frameworks] Storing colour and black and white reversal chemicals
I didn't know it was still possible to get e-6 kits? what kit are you using and where did u buy it? thnx, andrew From: Kevin Timmins on-on...@hotmail.com To: FrameWorks frameworks@jonasmekasfilms.com Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2012 5:22:59 AM Subject: [Frameworks] Storing colour and black and white reversal chemicals Hi Frameworks, I've been developing a while with E-6 and I've been storing my old chemicals in a few massive water cooler bottles (one for each bath). Can I do the same with my Black and White developer chemicals? Do I need some type of special storage containers due to the acid or can I use water cooler bottles again? Also is there anyone I can call when these storage bottles become full? My old E-6 chemicals bottles are getting full now. Only a few liters left in them. Re: [Frameworks] push processing advice needed
hey charles, are you processing it as a reversal or negative? i think as a reversal the tri-x only has one stop of latitude on either side of the characteristic curve. I think you will gain a little more latitude by processing negativc and then maybe pull a little more from an vid xfer of that neg. try negative custom lab. i think they will push it as much as you want. good luck, andrew From: charles chadwick infiltration...@gmail.com To: Experimental Film Discussion List frameworks@jonasmekasfilms.com Sent: Sunday, January 8, 2012 9:25:53 AM Subject: [Frameworks] push processing advice needed Hi all. I have some b+w super8 that I need to push process. It was shot in really dark conditions, so I need to find a lab that will push it to its maximum. I don't care so much about cost. Most of the labs I've looked at do a 2-stop max. Does anyone know of any that do more? Any help is appreciated.
