Here's a relatively old projector spec and already it specifies that h264 compression in an .mov or .mp4 container are supported. That's close to optimal except maybe in Linux; you might give those profiles a shot. http://www.optomausa.com/support/discontinued-products/detail/ml500 On Mar 8, 2014
