Hello all,
Is anyone aware of any available 16mm prints / DVD / VHS or online versions of
James Whitney's 1973 'Dwija'? I would like to review it for my PhD research
(related to alchemy in the moving image), and I may then see if I might be able
to screen it.
I have sent inquiry emails to CVM

for 16mm/35mm and can do high end scans, HD telecine, and coloring...but
they'll be pricy. If you're in the market for a lower-priced 1080P transfer,
contact Migrate Films for 16mm/Super8 transfers.

Professional video/computer monitors from the likes of Ikegami, Sony
and Panasonic are really expensive, in the range of $4000 each.
I've had good results with my trusty HP LP2465, it's been going
strong for years and nary a dead pixel in sight.

Hello Richard,As you know, we answered your other email earlier today. This film can be studied at Center for Visual Music in LA, along with related reference materials in our paper files and library. We don't loan or sell DVD or VHS copies of this film. I don't know of any copies where you are, in
