I am trying to figure out if you can use a ECLAIR NPR regular 16mm with a
OʼConnor 2060 head.
Unfortunately are the camera and the head currently in a two different
countries, myself in a third.
can anyone tell me for certain if this is possible or not?

Super-common problem, and fairly easy to fix with a little shrink tubing (that
you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot). Dave Tetzlaff showed me the way. I've
repaired probably a dozen cameras using his method. Here are step-by-step

I took out the lens and noticed that there is a thick dark red grease on the
threading of the lens itself, and also buildup in the threading connected to
the focusing knob. I don't know much about thisshould I clean this
buildup or do I need more grease? Could this be reason why the
