He is a major inspiration! Seeing Corridor projected at Anthology changed my
DNA...my favorite film. I am sorry that a major source of knowledge and history
has been lost. I hope they preserve his optical printer. What else to say...I
wish I knew more about him. His films seemed to suggest that
Ernie Gehr's *Signal-Germany On The Air* makes extensive use of radio
broadcasts.

I don't know where you live, but I know a great resource in Brooklyn is the
public access channel. If you take an orientation and a class there (for
under $100) you get to use their equipment. I imagine a lot of other cities
have a similar set-up. That way you can try out a few different types of
