Henry Hathaway's Niagara - the use of the Rainbow Tower's carillon as a recurring element on the soundtrack (it's one of the first things we hear in the film after the title music), as well as a central plot device and location, is quite haunting, anticipatory of similar effects in Vertigo. edo
