I hope this message finds you all well and warm.
Next Friday evening, December 7th is the opening night of MONO NO AWARE VI
beginning at 7 pm.
The event is FREE to attend and will run through Saturday night December 8th
with a second expanded cinema program.
FRIDAY @ 7 pm Program I will present cinema installations by Robert Howsare,
Mary Stark, Miro Hoffmann, and Jodie Mack. Multi-projection film performances
by Tara Nelson, Kristin Reeves, Mike Bonello and Man Forever (Thrill Jockey).
After all the performances, the installations will remain on view while DJ
Richard Gamble presents a live DJ set. SATURDAY @ 7 pm Program II will present
cinema installations by Amanda Long, Miro Hoffmann, and Jodie Mack. Film
performances by Johnny Rodgers, Elina Brotherus, Masha Mitkov, Joey Huertas aka
Jane public, Suzana Stankovic, Margaret Rorison, Katie Fleming Sean Hanley,
Charlie Adams, Leslie Guyton, Rachel Garis, Matt Bovee, Sara Dobrinich, kevin
Jones, Laura Murphy, Angel Ortiz, Benjamin Robert, Carrie Walsh, and Samantha
Owens. After all the performances, the installations will remain on view while
Jahiliyya Fields (L.I.E.S. records) plays a live dance-synth set.
