Re: [Frameworks] Processing black and white reversal
Esperanza , if you can find the bleach it works out so much cheaper , you cut the cost down by a lot . then start home cooking now that's fun . you will never look back , & save so much money . If not get the Foma kit thing is the bleach when mixed has not a long shelf life so need to use ASAP . best , Christopher On Wed, Dec 14, 2016 at 10:43 PM, Ed Inman wrote: > Ilford publishes a B/W reversal formula here: http://www.ilfordphoto. > com/Webfiles/20061291034093.pdf > > The bleach may be too strong for some emulsions in which case you might > try using only half as much potassium permanganate. > > Ed > > > > ___ > FrameWorks mailing list > FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com > https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks > > ___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks

[Frameworks] Processing black and white reversal
Dear all, We have been using in class the typical and rather small Fomapan processing set for R100 but this is getting too expensive as we process more and more Super8 reversal film. I am not an expert in this, but I am sure we can find other liquid chemicals (for the time being we will stick to liquid solutions) with better capacity and performance. I would like to know if those of you with experience would be so kind to recommend specific products. Also, although not so urgent, I'd like to hear of alternatives to Tetenal E6 kit. Many thanks in advance.
