SPANISH FILM CLUB: DEADLINE FOR GRANTS EXTENDED TO APRIL 1, 2012! A new Initiative by Pragda, Spanish Film Club offers grants to help universities and educational institutions bring the very best in contemporary Spanish and Latin American cinema to campuses hoping to introduce students to the language and cultures of these territories. The inventive model allows universities to select a minimum of five films from a catalogue of 18 new titles to create a film festival. Representing 10 countries, the films have been carefully selected by a team of experts and are backed by the most important festivals and film critics. This system also encourages the organization of virtual Q&A sessions with the filmmakers online and offers an online wall for the exchange of ideas between students, professors, and creators around the country.
