There are a lot of movie poster collectors out there, and a lot of the big
poster clearing houses advertise in Classic Images magazine.
I happen to have some pages torn out of Classic Images on my desk, and
they include ads for emovieposter.com and Rick's Movie Posters and Prints.

If they’re told that the Academy library already has a full stock of posters
(as seems likely), they could always sell them to a collector or auction them
on Ebay and use the proceeds to give to a charity of their choice. The posters
will end up with someone who loves them, and the cash can be
