Yeah, they should be fine if stored consistently. Avoid moving them around
a lot between spaces with different temps, as that can lead to issues.

While I haven't done this with layered images, I often leave exposed film in the refrigerator for months at a time before sending it off to the lab. I've left exposed film in my fridge for up to year with no complaints.
