I believe Kodak used to put expiration dates on super-8 products sold under the 
"consumer" label.
Since super8 is now part of the regular "professional" catalog, there are no 
expiration dates on these products.
There is a manufacturer's code on the box which tells Kodak from which batch 
the roll comes from.
If you call Kodak and give them that number, they should be able to give you an 
approximate date of manufacture.
