As discussed at this month's FSM meeting, the Trans-Pacific Partnership
has been signed by many countries including Australia — all prior to any
of those countries's citizens get to discuss what's in the agreement.
The Electronic Frontiers Foundation analysed the final leaked text of
"There is no human right to patent protection. The right to protection
of moral and material interests cannot be used to defend patent laws
that inadequately respect the right to participate in cultural life, to
enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its applications, to
scientific freedoms
