Re: [free-software-melb] MINIX 3 in IME
This is finally starting to get a lot of attention in the technology field but these issue have yet to be exposed to the larger population. I fear that by the time the average person starts to pay attention is once it is being used for attacks in the wild. Then it will be too late. Seeing big companies trying to disable ME and the existence of a kill switch on the platform for big customers is somewhat of a smoking gun meaning even they do not trust it. Next few months are going to be interesting especially now that Black hat folks are figure out how to run arbitrary code on the thing. -Michael On 8/11/2017 11:00 PM, free-software-melb-requ...@lists.softwarefreedom.com.au wrote: MINIX 3 in IME --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus ___ Free-software-melb mailing list Free-software-melb@lists.softwarefreedom.com.au https://lists.softwarefreedom.com.au/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/free-software-melb Free Software Melbourne home page: http://www.freesoftware.asn.au/melb/
