freeamp 2 is really in very early stages. essentially it is only being worked
on by the guy doing the mac port. the 1.x architecture was not flexible
enough for him so he is skipping 1.5 and starting work on 2.0. when we finish
1.5 we will catch up the win32 and unix side of things on the 2.0 branch.
