RE: FreeBSD shirts
The BDSMall has had numerous requests for clothing items with the New FreeBSDR logo on them. The FreeBSDR logo has been added to the standard line of clothing and accessories. We have selected the clothing items for the quality of the garment and the embroidery work that is performed. They clothing items are perfect for technology or social events. We think that you will find them great to give as gifts. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the FreeBSDR Foundation. Re: FreeBSD shirts
Does anyone happen to know what steps I could take to help get the ball rolling on this? Do I contact the FreeBSD Foundation? As far as the representative from BSDMall is concerned, I believe that they may get permission to make shirts by emailing [EMAIL PROTECTED], as specified on the new guidelines at http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/legal/guidelines.shtml . As stated earlier, the Foundation could certainly set up their own CafePress shop. I want to wear new FreeBSD shirts so badly. Even a black polo with a little embroidered logo would make me happy at this point. -Mick ___ freebsd-advocacy@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-advocacy To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
RE: FreeBSD shirts
We would be happy to make the new logo available on any of the products available on the BSDmall. We would need a high resolution image of the logo. The pricing would be the same. Re: FreeBSD shirts
I own a Free BSD tee shirt and I bought it from Free BSD Mall. I also bought like 5 things of stickers and 500 dollars in books from there and I've never had a problem. I'd love to get my hands on one of the original tees though that they handed out at a picnic a long time ago (Read the Complete Free BSD for details) -Allen > > ___ > freebsd-advocacy@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-advocacy > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ___ freebsd-advocacy@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-advocacy To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

Re: FreeBSD shirts
It's funny to see this post as I was just wondering the same thing yesterday... You can buy a few (rare) items from http://www.cafepress.com, but nothing with the new logo. I'm actually kind of curious to know why the Project or the Foundation hasn't set up a CafePress shop yet? It seems like a fairly trivial amount of work and I've noticed that many Linux distributions appear to have set up shops to help project funding, as well as PC-BSD ( http://www.cafepress.com/pc_bsd). I know I, and I assume others, wouldn't mind seeing a shop with some apparel, stickers, or around-the-house items sporting Beastie and even the new logo. And, of course, it would also produce another source of funding for the Project. -David On 5/22/06, Mick Charles Beaver <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hello All, Does anyone know where the best place to buy FreeBSD shirts would be?
