[Bug 225792] ECMP is broken since tryforward()

2018-02-09 Thread bugzilla-noreply
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=225792

Bug ID: 225792
Summary: ECMP is broken since tryforward()
   Product: Base System
   Version: CURRENT
  Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
  Severity: Affects Only Me
  Priority: ---
 Component: kern
  Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
  Reporter: oliv...@freebsd.org

For the record: As mentioned into the mailing-list [1], adding "options
RADIX_MPATH" doesn't allow any more to use ECMP.
The new ip_tryforward (like the previous fastforward) didn't support ECMP: a
FreeBSD router sticks to its first route entry and never try the second entry.
