Re: anon ftp access at current

2002-02-11 Thread Jordan Hubbard

No, the NFS server it depends on is down. Still working on getting it
back up.

I am trying to install one of the -current snapshots, but
current.freebsd.org doesn't seem to want to let me log in as anonymous
(some problem saying it cannot set guest access). Has the procedure
 changed to get -current?

 thanks

I believe current.FreeBSD.org is in the process of being upgraded.
Meanwhile, you could either CVSup from some of your local CVSup servers
(if you already have some FreeBSD version installed) or download a
snapshot from snapshots.jp.FreeBSD.org.

There have been some problems with this server the past few days and the
people who need to know do and are working on it. In the meantime, you
can use snapshots.jp.freebsd.org.
