Hello; In my attempt to update libedit and make it somewhat more in line with NetBSD's code I found we added two private functions: el_data_get and el_data_set:
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base?view=revision&revision=50070 According to OpenGrok we are not using those functions at all, plus we have had for a while the upstream sanctioned el_get() and el_set(), .
