I recently received the 4.1 subscription CD.

I have an old machine doing only ppp and serving a printer on a home
lan.

So, why not upgrade to 4.1?  Get into this century.

Wrong!

It appears from GNATS that the DEC EtherWORKS 2 and DEC EtherWORKS 3
NIC's no longer work with no prospect of it happening in the near
future.  This happened with 4.0 and continues to -current, I believe.

Have we dropped two classes of NIC's without noting it in ERRATA.TXT?

HARDWARE.TXT and RELNOTES.TXT still list these devices as supported.

Can we at least fix the documents?  Patches attached.
