I've made a patch for chkrootkit [1], it's building, but i didn't test if
it's working. Could you take a look at it?

Well, files cannot be accessed without the utmpx API. I looked at these
tools and I don't think they have very little use with utmpx. Can't we
just disable all utmp related tools?
