Weird login behaviour
Hello everybody, I upgraded to this morning's (local time) -CURRENT as I usually do on Sundays. Everything works (this far) but there is something weird: When I log in on the console, it says login: which is OK. But when I enter my username, it does not say Password: but rather displays my username in the next line. If I enter the password there, it lets me in. So it works, but there is something wrong here... It looks like this: login: cc cc pass here Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project ... Instead of: login: cc Password: pass here Copyright (c) ... Has anyone seen this yet? (I have not played with PAM config, I use the defaults) -- Regards: Szilveszter ADAM Szombathely Hungary To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe freebsd-current in the body of the message

I've done a build - install world twice with current sources with the same results. Also I restored off tape /etc from 1 month ago. Same thing. It's probably something with the pam library as /usr/src/usr.bin/login doesn't have any recent changes. I thought I was being hacked, I'm glad somebody else is seeing this.
