1. We are working on fixing that reCAPTCHA problem:

   https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=227394

Hopefully, it'll be working back again soon :)

2. At the moment account creation has to be done manually by the wiki
admins I think. Let's CC them.

Cheers!

FreeBSD Wiki: Ask to create account

2018-06-02 Thread Fygul Hether
Hello,

I'd like to upload my laptop test report (https://wiki.freebsd.org/Laptops),
please instruct me how to create account.

I already read AboutWiki (https://wiki.freebsd.org/AboutWiki), tried Create
Account page and realized ReCaptcha is shutdown.

[Bug 228715] Add a note to the Porter's Handbook that "Created by: ..." should not be present in Makefiles of new ports

2018-06-02 Thread bugzilla-noreply
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=228715

Bug ID: 228715
Summary: Add a note to the Porter's Handbook that "Created by:
..." should not be present in Makefiles of new ports
   Product: Documentation
   Version: Latest
  Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
  Keywords: easy, needs-qa
  Severity: Affects Only Me
  Priority: ---
 Component: Documentation
  Assignee: d...@freebsd.org
  Reporter: 0...@freebsd.org
CC: ports-b...@freebsd.org

I believe that the current policy is not to include the "Created by: ..." line
at the top of new Makefiles in the ports tree. I cannot find it in the
handbook, however.
