FreeBSD ports - Thunderbird and Firefox / Firefox-ESR

2017-04-26 Thread Tommi Pernila
Hi,

I've been using FreeBSD as my primary desktop for a year now and i would
like to help with these Mozilla ports.

I use these ports daily and i compile them with a few custom flags/settings
with poudriere. ( the most notable being DEFAULT_VERSION+=ssl=libressl )

So would you need help with testing these? Also how could i help to get the
the latest versions to the ports tree as fast as possible.
As most of the updates now days are about security vulnerabilities.

As I'm working in IT security field, so i don't want to get bitten with a
public vulnerability ;)

Br,

Tommi

[Bug 218116] www/seamonkey mail/thunderbird

2017-04-26 Thread bugzilla-noreply
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=218116

The problem still exists for seamonkey, in thunderbird (FBSD 11.0) it seems to
be resolved:
In order to to narrow the search, I installed FreeBSD/amd64 11.0 on a DELL
Desktop, added xorg kde seamonkey, firefox, thunderbird etc.
For seamonkey there existed some unresolved dependencies (e.g. to package
startup-notifikacion). Connecting to the mailserver (DELL PowerEdge R710
running FreeBSD/amd64 10.3-STABLE with dovecot) using TLS/SSL I observed the
same phenomenon. The button to accept or update an event is empty and inactive.
Using thunderbird on this machine, events are displayed as they should. Several
buttons appear giving the choice to accept or decline the event and a combobox
labeled more. At least thunderbird seems to work.

Back to my workstation running FreeBSD/amd64 10.3-STABLE: seamonkey revealed
the same symptoms and thunderbird showed neither buttons nor combobox.

As the problem is reproducible please reopen this PR! I don't like to transfer
all my calendar-entries from seamonkey to thunderbird...

[Bug 218808] www/firefox: usr/bin/ld: error: unknown argument: --warn-unresolved-symbols

2017-04-26 Thread bugzilla-noreply
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=218808

(In reply to Jan Beich from comment #2)

Is there a solution? www/firefox doesn't build on 12-CURRENT (recent, as of
today) anymore if WITH_LLD_IS_LD is enabled.

poudriere also fails on the very same error.

FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date

2017-04-26 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainer,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you can
safely ignore the entry.

You will not be e-mailed again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:
http://portscout.freebsd.org/ge...@freebsd.org.html

Port| Current version | New version
+-+
www/xpi-tabmixplus | 0.4.1.3.1 | 0.5.0.3
+-+

If any of the above results are invalid, please check the following page
for details on how to improve portscout's detection and selection of
distfiles on a per-port basis:
