case, then there will need to be another (protected mode) entry point

I'd gladly write a port for it if someone could port it.
Probably it should use the led(4) framework and reside in the base OS.
Like sys/arm/xscale/ixp425/cambria_led.c

With OpenSSL you have two choices:
engine cryptodev : uses /dev/crypto
engine padlock : uses the xcrypt commands directly
engine padlock should be the fastest of course.

I'd prefer a more compact version. How about the attached patch? Also
applies some more word smithing.

Every anti foot shooting takes time to check for.
A strncmp for every arg is maybe ok. Traversing the tree for realpath is not.
The job for `rm` is to remove whatever it is given to get removed.

Hi,
are there experiences with backup/restore of an bootable w2k
partition from within FreeBSD?
I've seen `newfs_msdos -B`, but how to extract the w2k bootblock (dd?) ?
Is it sufficient to get an bootable partition?
Thanks!

You'll see a bunch of TUNABLE_INT_FETCH(...).
These are tunable during loader(8) time.

So .FOO does print FOO.
s does put a constant string on top of the stack.
Which seemd to get used by read-conf later on.
I hope my memory didn't fool me here.

using "boot0cfg -B -o packet ad0" solved the booting problem for me.
Previously I had to use the win98 bootloader and activate the partitions by
hand in a dual-boot configuration.
