i encountered some problems with the intel 82571EB chipset when i
tried to upgrade from FreeBSD 6.1-RELENG to 6.2-RELENG/7.0-CURRENT on
a network appliance (NEXCOM 1108GL)
the appliance has 3 different intel ethernet controllers soldered
to the motherboard

The 82571 device has been supported for a long time, the trick
comes when you have a gang of them how the thing is all wired
up, we have had issues even with our quad port adapters and
some vendor BIOS's. This is a custom so I'm only going to be
able to guess that its interrupts.

Is there any way compiling SCTP library without IPv6? I have specified
-UAF_INET6 in libnetworking Makefile DEFS, but it didn't work :(.
I have found that there is #ifdef AF_INET6 condition in sctp_header.h and in
socket.h, there is #define AF_INET6 28. So, the prior condition is a
