I have been using the 4.0.2 version in our production system running FreeBSD 8.2 with a dual xeon 6 cores (12 cpus seen in the kernel) running 8 windows XP and 2 windows 2003 nt. besides it runs webserver, databases (postgres, mysql)... on the top of a ZFS.. running for weeks at full load...
