Tried default options and now only

x optimized_cflags
x ALSA
Also tried an earlier revision from November (pre SoundTouch), but all
fails in the same place so the error is most likely
The patch is a change in freetype headers - could it be that freetype is
not updated?

It is, but I feel it is best now to start with updating the base
system(s), and then run the ports update. Base was from mid-September
so it's
Do you have the patch in the files directory of the port ? If not you
may try to copy it in the directory.
But I would mail directly to the maintainer.

Dear Porters/Maintainers,
An hour or so ago, an updated version of portscout was deployed that
finally fixes detection of updates for ports using USE_GITHUB=yes
For more information on the fix, and the original commit adding support
for GitHub detection, and it's limitations, see:
Dear port maintainer,
The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,

Hi ports,
Thanks for m*aintained devel/cpuflags.*
And I found that it is still using gcc as default CC even in FreeBSD
11-CURRENT which default CC is clang.
Here is a small patch to put in *devel/cpuflags/files, **patch
devel/cpuflags default to use clang as CC when FreeBSD version >= 10*

Hi!
It seems as though FreeBSD has an inotify compatibility layer.
At least that's what we've been informed. One committer in the community is
currently working on getting it operational and into the ports collection.

distcache.freebsd.org is reachable over IPv6. Distfiles should *still*
be fetchable over IPv6, but I don't know if there are edge
