RE: FreeBSD Port: mythtv-0.27.5.20150616

2016-04-19 Thread HILLIARD, Craig
Thanks for your quick feedback.
I'm thinking I'll have to wait for .28, because I want to import my
mythdatabase, that's been running on .28 (Ubuntu box) for some time, and it
seems Myth makes database schema changes with each version.

I'll check back in a few months.

Thank for your hard work. !!!

I did not have time yet to look into it. I was working on a mythtv 0.27.6
update which I want to finish before I start with 0.28.

Right now I am bit upset by the policy that the mythtv guys seem to have. They
are doing patch releases without fixing critical CVEs. The 0.27.6 release is a
good example because it contains a lot of old ffmpeg security issues which have
not been fixed.

FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date

2016-04-19 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainer,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you can
safely ignore the entry.

You will not be e-mailed again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:
http://portscout.freebsd.org/po...@freebsd.org.html

Port| Current version | New version
+-+
editors/neovim | 0.1.3 | nightly
+-+
lang/duktape| 1.4.0 | 1.4.1
+-+

If any of the above results are invalid, please check the following page
for details on how to improve portscout's detection and selection of
distfiles on a per-port basis:

http://portscout.freebsd.org/info/portscout-portconfig.txt

Thanks.
