Have you tried "devel/ccache"? I have it incorporated into poudriere

I just switched from using 'portsnap' to 'git'. I removed everything in
the directory, then used 'git' to build it. That worked fine. I had to
manually recreate the 'distfiles' directory, but I expected to have to
do that.
Now, if I run a 'make search' in the directory, I receive an error

Shouldn't poudriere have removed the mountpoint? I used "zfs destroy" to remove
it.

With the change in the FreeBSD ports system, I have started to use
"gitup". I have this working fine. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out
how to get poudriere, version 3.3.99.20210303_1 to use 'gitup' too. It
insists on using 'portsnap'. This is on a FreeBSD 11.4-p9 system.

I am using "poudriere-devel", version 3.3.99.20210303_1 on a FreeBSD
11.4-RELEASE-p8 amd64 machine. I was told that poudriere uses
'portsnap' by default. What, do I have to do if I want it to defer to
"gitup" {devel/py-git-up} instead?

Perhaps I am wrong on this, so I thought I would ask. Is 'portsnap'

BTW, I use "synth" to keep my system updated.

he port version is several versions
behind the current release. I wrote the maintainer and asked him to please
update it.
In any case, perhaps it is time to mark this port broken or state that it does
not work with newer versions of PHP. Just a thought, but it might save someone
a lot of wasted ti
correcting this error? Googling did not reveal a positive
method.

Apparently, "synth" is not handling it correctly.

To unsubs
n that are
presently not available or like "wayland" need some massaging. It all depends
if I can actually get some free time. Wayland does look promising though, I
hate "X".

A Postfix / Dovecot with sieve combination is a far more powerful combination
and it is fully supported.

IMHO, I think that "postfix" should be the base MTA. It is far easier to
configure, it is rock solid
and the Postfix forum and documentation are superb. Plus, Dovecot integrates
with it seamlessly.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me when the "py-certbot-apache" port might
be available?
The port's message indicates that it will be available in the
"security/py-certbot-apache" port;
however, it obviously isn't.

again, pkg gives no clues.
Synth is failing since this change. I get the feeling that, as usually happens,
nobody
actually vetted this correctly.
