e is any reason they can think of to turn it
off on FBSD. When I added it I was just parsing the configure output
for mod_auth_digest in apache and its requirements.

er, its the path we've chosen and if you
do know them they make maintenance much easier and less error prone.

uld be removed from the individual
pkg-message[.in] files and added in #2.
Ideally I'd say we should just slowly switch everything to
FILESDIR/pkg-message[.in] but portmgr@ already veto'd that before so
I'll drop that idea.

ld work, so however it turns out to be "easiest" should be fine.
I believe we are agreeing. I didn't say anything about
portmaster/portupgrade. The pkg/make infrastructure needs to do it at
the end so that it works via pkg_add, make, or portmaster et al.

In the distant future versioned ports will version the DATADIR correctly
for apache related anyway.

If you're going to do it, they should he ap${APACHE_VERSION}- prefixed.
Several ports show examples of this already. Also, AP_FAST_BUILD does
this for you.

if
USE_APACHE=13
you can write ap13 you know what APACHE_VERSION will evaluate too.

AP_FAST_BUILD= yes
AP_GENPLIST=yes
sweep broke it. I'll revert / fix this later today, in the meantime,
just use the previous version of the port.

that should happen is the auto assigner should not touch xpi related
