I am looking for a Bypass LAN card that is supported by FreeBSD. I

Thanks to all!

Hi
We have pppoe server running on FreeBSD 4.9 and 90% of our wireless clients
are using MS Windows OS to access the service. I have noticed that when ever
there is some problem in the link ( due to AP or SM reboot, switch reboot etc
etc ) the pppoe connection closes. I have also noticed that

Hi,
When a packet hits allow | accept | pass | permit rule the packet is
accepted and the search is retiminated at that point.
I need to accept the packet but still want the packet to continue travers
rules further below. However, once it hits deny | drop rule it should be
dropped and the
be
generated very quickly. As these only apply to port 25 traffic, as skipto
can be used to skip these rules for all other traffic.
1000 skipto 2000 tcp from any to any 25
1100 skipto 4000 ip from any to any
2000 deny ip from spammer.com to any

Hi I am using freebsd 4.9 with ipfw to shape b/w for my broadband clients.
I have created a 64Kbit pipe and I have configured few ips to use the pipe. ie
more than one client share the same 64Kbit pipe.
I have been montoring the b/w utilization by using the command:
ipfw pipe show $inpipe | tail

I'm running pppoed on freebsd-4.9. It is running smoothly. However it crashes
sometime with a pppoed.core file dumpped at the root directory.
gdb -c pppoed.core shows that it crashed with signal 11 segmentation fault.
I'm running the package as it came with the os. I have not upgraded any thing
Take a look at this site
http://www.hpi.net/whitepapers/warta/
It has everything, from setting up pppoe to b/w mgmt. However you need to
tweak ppp.conf in order to make it work from Win98 using Raspppoe client.
good luck :)

Hi,
I would like to know if this command 'ifconfig fxp0 media 100baseTX mediaopt
full-duplex' remains effective even after reboots.
And, how can I set full-duplex option for a particular interface while it is
initializing at boot time ?
Thanks,
Bikrant Neupane
