Hello,
tonight my RAID0 configuration broke.
It seems to be only a loose cable or power cord, which i fixed already.
But now my ar0 stripe will not be recognised anymore.
/var/log/messages showed this :

i am using a Adaptec 29160UW Controller in my FreeBSD 4.8 Box together
with an Easyraid 2 external RAID System and a Quantum SDLT-320 Drive.
The problem is the data transfer Rate of my SCSI Channel is only 40
Mbytes/s.

maybe this is not realy FreeBSD specific but i hope you can still
answer that.
I am wondering if there is a way to prevent some hardware components
from interrupt sharing, because i think this is a bottleneck situation
sometimes.

i am trying to add some more hd space to my system.
I have an extra disk wich is /dev/sda0s2.
I used disklabel to partition it into seven partitions. Now i want to
insert these partitions to my system, but i can not find all the device
files /dev/sda0s2a - /dev/sda0s2h
But disklabel -r
Hello, i am trying to partition my 1.6TB scsi raid.
The problem is that disklabel only support up to 8 partitions but i want
more (about 30).
Is there any way to do this ?
